A workshop organized by the Women’s Political Movement was held in Colombo on 08 August 2026. The workshop focused on the implementation of the National Women’s Plan developed by the Government in 2023, its current status, and the actions that need to be taken in the future.
The main objectives of the workshop were to discuss the policies and measures proposed under the National Women’s Plan to ensure women’s rights and equality, assess its current implementation, and identify the necessary actions to ensure its more effective implementation in the future.
