We are delighted to share that on 29th June 2024, the Voice of the Plantation People Organization successfully organized a sports event dedicated to promoting cultural harmony and reconciliation among the Malaiyaha community, as well as the Sinhala and Muslim communities.
This event was a fantastic opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together, celebrate unity, and build stronger bonds through friendly competition and shared experiences. It was heartwarming to see the spirit of teamwork and mutual respect shining through every activity.
A huge thank you to all the guests, Chief Guest Janaf. Wazeer, Principal of the Codapitiya Sadath Muslim School, Religious leaders, Government officers, volunteers, District leaders in Matara and Glle, Leaders of Matara District Sikaram Malaiyaha Women Federation, Galle and Matra districts Malaiyaha youths, represenatives of Sinahala and Muslim communities, supporters and VOPP staffs who made this event possible! Let’s continue to champion understanding and harmony within our diverse community. Together, we can make a difference.
