Executive Director of the Voice of the Plantation People Organization (VOPP), Anthony Jesudasan, participated in an international training on Transformative Peace Leadership in Nepal from 9 to 15 June 2025. The program included 12 participants from the Northern, Southern, and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka and provided an excellent opportunity for the growth and capacity-building of VOPP.
This important training focused on building sustainable peace and reconciliation. During the program, the Director gained valuable insights and approaches for promoting peace in diverse communities. VOPP continues to work with all ethnic groups and religious communities, striving for sustainable peace and reconciliation in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Janardan Sharma, Member of Parliament and former Minister of Home Affairs, Energy, and Peace and Reconstruction, Federal Republic of Nepal.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Nepal Police, with over two decades of service, currently leading the National Police Training Academy in Maharajgunj. Previously served at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Department, successfully completing 12 operations in seven months and gaining public trust in law enforcement.

Mr. Surendra Bahadur Sharma, security specialist in the field of defense sector reform, with decades of experience in police training, crime and anti-terrorism investigations, intelligence operations, and policy formulation.

Mr. Bhojraj Pokharel, former Chief Election Commissioner of Nepal, who oversaw the historic 2008 election under a new system. Before assuming the Chief Election Commissioner role, he served in key ministries, including Health, Home Affairs, and Provincial Governance.
