The representatives of the Voice of the Plantation People Organization (VOPP) participated in the march and rally held in Colombo yesterday (1st May 2025) to mark International Workers’ Day. The event was organized by the United Union Alliance.
During the program, Anthony Jesudasan, Executive Director of VOPP, delivered a speech on critical issues affecting plantation workers, including salary, land, and housing concerns, as well as other matters related to May Day. His address highlighted the challenges faced by plantation workers and emphasized the need for fair treatment and recognition of their rights.
ඒකාබද්ධ වෘත්තිය සමිති සන්ධානය විසින් ඊයේ දින (2025.05.01) සංවිධානය කරන ලද ජාත්යන්තර කම්කරු දින පාගමන හා රැලිය සඳහා වතුකරයේ ජනතා හඬ සංවිධානයේ නියෝජිතයන්ද සහභාගි වුහ. මෙය සදහා වෘත්තිය සමිති හා සිවිල් සංවිධාන ගණනාවක් සහභාගිවී තම යෝජනවා ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදී.
